I am honored to be featured in the Stanford Scope, the medical blog for Stanford Medicine. It was through a relationship with Inspire, a company that builds and manages online support communities for patients and caregivers, this collaboration was made possible.

After my surgery, I was on Inspire regularly. It is an incredible way for patients and their families to find communities supporting their questions. John Novack, is the Director of Communications at Inspire, and is a great person. I had the opportunity to converse with him recently regarding the future of patient advocacy and using the power of social media to advance wellness. Incredible work and John and his team at Inspire are leading the way. It is also a joint effort with leading institutions like Stanford Medicine, that can think ahead and support patients and offer preventative alternatives.
Thank you Stanford University and Inspire.
